A 33 year veteran of the rental car industry, Dave started straight out of college with Enterprise Rent A Car. Eventually he decided owning and operating his own rental company was the way to go. Dave’s been with US Choice helping rental operators with all their business and insurance needs for the past 17 years. Dave’s always happy to help both existing rental operators and new ventures advising clients on the ins and outs of the rental business and sharing his car rental insurance knowledge as well.
How do you define success?
I define success as setting my goals high and attaining those goals and of course having fun and making new contacts along the way.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most and why?
Helping new startup rental car companies attain commercial rental insurance, teaching them counter procedures and mostly, how to be a successful rental car company.
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be and why?
Professional golfer, I love golf and want a shot at the $10 million Master’s Tournament prize, lol
What is your favorite pastime and why?
Fishing. I love spending time in nature and the outdoors even if I don’t catch anything.
If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and why?
Bobby Jones, so he could teach me that perfect golf swing.
If you were to write a book about yourself, what would the title be? Why does that best describe you?
No Regrets. I’ve worked hard and played hard. I think that title says it all.
